Baku. Parviz Nuriyev – APA-Economics. As of September 1, 2014 the deposits in Azerbaijan-based credit organizations made AZN 14,639.8 mln, up AZN 2,978.3 mln or 25.54% compared to a year earlier. In August, the deposits rose AZN 81.7 mln or 0.56%.
AZN 6,992.8 mln (47.77%) of deposits was household savings. The personal savings soared AZN 902.4 mln or 14.82% year-on-year.
At the same time, legal entities’ deposits stood at AZN 7,647.1 mln, up AZN 2,076 mln or 37.26% from a year ago.
In the legal entities’ deposits, AZN 4,022.6 mln or 52.60% belonged financial organizations, AZN 3,624.5 mln or 47.40% - to non-financial organizations.
