Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of September 1, 2014, number of hired workers in Azerbaijan’s economy made 1,511,400 and 892,800 of them worked at the state sector of economy, 618,600 – in non-state sector, said the State Statistical Committee.
22.5% of hired workers worked at education, 18.8% - at trade, transport facilities repair, 12.3% - at industry, 8.7% - at medical and social services to population, 6.8% - at construction, 5.0% - at transport and storage economy, 3.8% - at profession, scientific and technical activity, 2.9% - at agriculture, forestry and fishing, 1.8% - at information and communication and 17.4% - other spheres.
Average monthly salary of hired workers made AZN 440.9 in January-August, 2014.
