Ateshgah Life heads insurance market for payments

Baku. APA-Economics - Musa Ahmadov. Ateshgah Life heads the insurance market paying AZN 20.7 mln, said the chairman of Azerbaijan Insurers Association Orkhan Bayramov.

Pasha Sigorta paid AZN 20 mln, Ateshgah – AZN 10.2 mln, Azersigorta – AZN 9.9 mln, AXA MBASK – AZN 7.5 mln. Total payments by these companies made AZN 68.3 mln, 59% of total payments.

The insurers with the less payments are Silk Way Insurance (AZN 286,000), Era Trans (AZN 260,000), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 69,000), Azergarant (AZN 48,000), Royal Sigorta (AZN 8,314) and Chartis Azerbaijan (AzN 693). Total payments of these insurers amount to AZN 670,000, 0.6% of total payments.

Generally, 3 insurance companies’ payments make over AZN 10 mln, 6 companies – AZN 5-10 mln, 9 companies – AZN 1-5 mln, 10 companies – below AZN 1 mln. 16 insurers increased payments, 12 decreased.
