The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has been involved in the investigation into the assassination of former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
“The Minister of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General regularly report. I have also spoken with Vasyl Malyuk. The Security Service of Ukraine has been involved in the investigation,” Zelenskyy said.
He added that the assassination of the former speaker had been "thoroughly planned."
Recall that Andriy Parubiy was shot on August 30 in Lviv by an unknown person. The shooter fled the scene.
