Since the beginning of September, Russia has launched more than 1,300 strike drones, about 900 guided aerial bombs and up to 50 missiles of various types against Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram, APA reports.
It is noted that in the first week of September, Russia launched attacks on Chernigov, Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson, Kiev, Zaporizhia, Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Lviv regions.
"We must strengthen the sanctions pressure, increase the supply of weapons to Ukraine and provide guarantees to prevent this from happening again in the future. Long-term peace is possible only with real and effective security guarantees," Zelenskyy stressed.
