Russia suffered 1.3 million casualties in the war, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a joint press conference with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson during his visit to Sweden, APA reports.
"Russia is conducting propaganda in the US and Europe, trying to create the impression that it is winning the war. This is not true. They have more than a million - 1.3 million casualties. Their economy is also weakening. Russia wants to divide the US and Europe to reduce financial support for Ukraine. If you look at some countries in Europe, you can see that Russia has achieved this. But strong countries are still together," Zelensky said.
He also touched on the issue of fighter jets to be purchased from Sweden and announced that these fighters will be put into service with the Ukrainian army next year.
