Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he will clarify the timeline of the message that U.S. President Donald Trump delivered to Russian President Vladimir Putin, APA reports.
He made the remarks during a press conference today.
“[Trump] said he would respond in a few weeks… It could be two or three weeks. Today or in the coming days, we will speak with the U.S. President and clarify this matter,” Zelensky said.
Addressing the issue of territorial changes, Zelensky emphasized: “We will not give Putin anything. If he wants to advance further, he will lose millions of soldiers.”
Zelensky also noted that he plans to discuss sanctions against Russia with Trump on September 4.
