A deputy from the banned “For Life – Opposition Platform” party in Ukraine has been arrested, APA reports, citing Ukrainian media.
The detained lawmaker, Fydor Khrystenko, was a member of the banned “ For Life –Opposition Platform ” party. According to law enforcement sources, he had been wanted on suspicion of treason and was detained today on Ukrainian territory.
The Security Service of Ukraine stated that he had been recruited by the Russian Federal Security Service well before the full-scale invasion and had actively carried out assignments from the Russian intelligence agency.
The “For Life – Opposition Platform ” party was banned several years ago.
