Ukraine and Russia are preparing for new prisoner exchanges, Andriy Yusov, a representative of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Main Intelligence Directorate, told “Novini.LIVE," APA reports.
Both countries are gearing up for upcoming exchange rounds, which will take place in the near future.
Announcing the new exchanges, Yusov emphasized that Ukraine is making every effort to secure the release of its captives.
He added that the implementation of agreements reached in Istanbul continues, including the execution of the so-called “third Istanbul” agreement. Planned exchanges are also ongoing.
Yusov noted that 68 prisoner exchanges have taken place during the war: “This is not just being planned—it is already being prepared. New exchange phases will certainly occur in the near future.”
