Our accident investigation and search-and-rescue team, which quickly arrived at the scene of the crash involving the C-130 military cargo aircraft in Georgia, continues its work in coordination with Georgian officials, APA reports, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
It was noted that the technical investigation and assessment process related to the crash is ongoing.
“Updates regarding the incident will be shared with the public,” the statement emphasized.
Recall that yesterday, a C130 military transport aircraft belonging to Türkiye, which was en route from Azerbaijan to Türkiye, crashed in Georgian territory. As a result of the crash, all 20 military personnel on board lost their lives. The bodies of 19 out of the 20 soldiers who died in the crash of Türkiye’s C130 aircraft in Georgia have been found.
