The attack near the parliament building in Serbia is a politically motivated terrorist attack. This incident was committed by a former employee of the state security service to create panic among the people, said Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić at a press conference, APA reports.
According to him, one person has been arrested in connection with the incident.
According to Serbian media, the incident occurred near protesters who had been setting up tents around the parliament for some time and supported the ruling party.
Suddenly, gunshots were heard and a fire broke out, resulting in one person being injured.
After the incident, many police and special anti-terrorist forces were deployed to the area.
