“Türkiye is the main guarantor country of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC),” said TRNC President Tufan Erhürman at a joint press conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
Erhürman noted that all presidents elected in Northern Cyprus to date have always highly appreciated Türkiye’s important role in the region.
He also emphasized that efforts will continue within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States to protect the rights of Turkish Cypriots and to ensure that their voices are heard more widely in the international arena.
