Since the beginning of August, NATO countries have purchased weapons worth 2 billion dollars from the United States for Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said at a press conference held in Luxembourg, APA reports.
“NATO countries have purchased weapons worth 2 billion dollars from the U.S. for Ukraine. These weapons include both lethal and non-lethal types,” he emphasized.
Note that under the scheme launched in August, the U.S. sends its weapons to Kyiv, and the full payment for these weapons is made by European countries.
