Last year, more than 1 million euros in cash was seized at Chisinau airport in just one day, said Moldovan President Maia Sandu during her speech at the European Parliament, APA reports.
She noted that during the year, Russia spent an amount equivalent to 1% of Moldova's GDP to influence the elections.
Maia Sandu stressed that Russia has launched its entire arsenal of hybrid attacks against Moldova.
She added that the most fateful elections in Moldova's history will be held on September 28 on the path to joining the European Union.
