King Charles III of Great Britain may influence US President Donald Trump's position on Ukraine, APA reports, citing Politico.
Allies have drawn the British king into the Ukraine issue.
According to the publication, the British authorities hope that the King's "charm" will help Prime Minister Keir Starmer convince Trump to increase pressure on Putin.
Although the official program does not include peace talks on Ukraine, sources say that this topic will be discussed behind closed doors.
The article states that King Charles is aware of the details of the ceasefire talks and is personally very close to Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It was noted that after Trump's cold attitude, Zelenskyy received support from the King. Thus, Charles first invited him to tea in Sandringham, and then to lunch in Windsor before the NATO summit.
