Five Turkish citizens have been detained in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia, APA's local bureau reports, citing Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
One of the individuals is accused of causing serious harm to health with intent, and four of hooliganism in a group.
The investigation revealed that one of the accused injured two Turkish citizens with a cold weapon in various parts of their bodies in a restaurant located in the Khelvachauri municipality. The injured were hospitalized and provided with appropriate medical assistance.
The other four individuals violated public order in the restaurant, insulted people there, and damaged inventory.
Investigative measures are continuing regarding the fact. The criminal offenses committed are punishable by up to 7 years in prison.
