A man tried to enter the territory of the Russian embassy in Romania with his car, APA reports, citing Digi 24 TV.
The Romanian gendarmerie forces, which are responsible for protecting the security of the embassy, detained the man in question.
Immediately after the incident, officers of the Romanian Intelligence Service arrived at the area.
It was revealed that the detained man is a 53-year-old Romanian citizen.
During a blood test, two prohibited substances - benzodiazepine and amphetamine - were found in his body.
No one was injured as a result of the incident, and no serious material damage was recorded.
