Latvian authorities have extended the closure of airspace over the country's border with Russia and Belarus until the morning of September 19. A source in the country's air traffic control service told TASS, APA reports.
The restrictions apply to flights at altitudes of up to 6 km. "Initially, the airspace over the border with Russia and Belarus was closed until the evening of Thursday, September 18, but the restrictions have now been extended until 7:00 a.m. Moscow time on Friday, September 19," the agency's source said.
