Strikes are being carried out on military facilities belonging to the Houthis in Yemen, APA reports, citing Israel Defense Forces.
It was reported that some time ago, the Israel Defense Forces struck a military infrastructure facility belonging to the Houthis in the port of Hodeidah, Yemen.
It was noted that "the port of Hodeidah is used by the Houthis to transfer weapons provided by the Iranian regime and to carry out attacks against the state of Israel and its allies."
It was noted that the attack was carried out in response to the Houthis' repeated attacks on the state of Israel, including the firing of drones and surface-to-surface missiles in the direction of the State of Israel.
"The Houthi terrorist regime operates under the direction and funding of the Iranian regime to harm the State of Israel and its allies. The terrorist regime uses maritime space to project power and carry out terrorist activities against the world's maritime and trade routes. The Israel Defense Forces will continue to resolutely oppose the Houthi terrorist regime's repeated attacks against the State of Israel," the statement said.
