Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, announced on X that he will meet with Andrii Sybiha in Budapest this week to discuss Hungarian-Ukrainian relations, APA reports.
Szijjártó emphasized Hungary’s commitment to dialogue, stating that the country is “always ready for talks.” He added that “the ball is on Ukraine’s side” and that “real progress is only possible if rights taken from Hungarians in Transcarpathia are fully restored.”
