A total of 105 foreign nationals were found to be residing in Georgia without legal grounds in recent days, Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs stated, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to the information, the individuals—citizens of Türkiye, India, China, Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Morocco, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Belarus, Egypt, Lebanon, Nepal, Sudan, and other countries—have been deported from the country. In line with local legislation, they have been banned from re-entering Georgia.
The ministry noted that, based on statistics for the current year, 806 foreign nationals have been deported from Georgia.
