The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, APA's local bureau reports.
The importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries was emphasized during the meeting, and the current situation in the region was discussed.
During the conversation, the friendly neighborly relations between Georgia and Armenia were also reviewed. It was noted that the political dialogue between the two countries is at the highest level.
Special attention was given to trade and economic cooperation and to the fact that Armenia is among Georgia’s top ten largest trade partners.
The important role of Georgia in the stable and peaceful development of the region was highlighted at the meeting.
