Today, at the meeting of the European Union (EU) Foreign Affairs Council which will be held in Luxembourg, discussions on Georgia will also take place, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the official website of the institution.
It was noted that the High Representative will inform the ministers about the latest developments in Georgia, including the municipal elections held on October 4 and the ongoing democratic backsliding.
The meeting, which will be chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, will also include topics on the agenda such as the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments regarding Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
