The composition of the Coordination Council for the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project has been renewed from the Georgian side, APA's local bureau reports.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze signed a decree approving the new composition.
According to the document, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili has been appointed co-chair of the Coordination Council.
The council includes Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Tamar Ioseliani, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, Deputy Minister of Justice Beka Dzamashvili, First Deputy Minister of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze, Director of the Railway Transport Agency Erekle Kejerashvili and General Director of Georgian Railways JSC Lasha Abashidze.
