More than £2 billion (more than $2.7 billion) has been allocated to Ukraine for the purchase of weapons through a fund headed by Great Britain. As noted in a statement released by the UK Ministry of Defence, this concerns "the supply of military equipment to meet the most urgent needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces", APA reports.
A short communiqué was published by the department following the 30th meeting of the contact group on military supplies to Ukraine in the Ramstein format held in London.
