At least 14 police officers were injured during protests in Serbia on Saturday night, and 42 people involved in the riots were detained, said Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic, APA reports.
According to him, 150 police officers have been injured in clashes with participants of uncoordinated protests in recent months.
"Last night alone, 14 police officers were injured," the Interior Minister noted.
Dacic said that 42 people were taken to police stations: "Depending on the assessment of the prosecutor's office, they will be held administratively or criminally liable."
The minister added that 18 police cars were damaged and a pistol was seized from one of the protesters.
