Today, Finland has begun artillery exercises involving more than 2,200 soldiers and 500 units of military equipment, 100 kilometers from Russia, in the northern part of the country, APA reports, citing Finland’s ground forces.
According to the information, the exercises are held under the name 'Northern Strike 225' and organized in Lapland, at the Rovajarvi training ground, which is considered one of the largest ranges in Western Europe. The exercises are planned to continue until November 25.
Servicemen from Poland have also joined the exercises. It is reported that the military personnel will conduct firing drills in early winter conditions, test coordination between various levels of command, and carry out fire operations.
