Baku - APA-Economics. The Baku High Oil School (BHOS) has today signed a cooperation protocol with Norwegian company Statoil-Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The document signed by BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov and Statoil-Azerbaijan's President Lars Troen Sorensen. The ceremony was also attended by the Ambassador of Norway to Azerbaijan Erling Shonsberg.
According to Gasimov, the document envisages cooperation between BHOS and educational institutions of Norway, organization of visits of BHOC employees to Norway and Norwegian university experts to Azerbaijan.
‘This protocol is an indicator of developing relations between company and school and the embassy is ready for any support for establishment and development of these relations’, said Shonsberg.
‘Statoil-Azerbaijan pays special attention to educational institutions and within the framework of the cooperation with Baku High Oil School it will contribute to development of oil & gas industry and strengthening of human resources in this field’ noted Lars Troen Sorensen.
The document also provides lectures and trainings of Statoil-Azerbaijan's specialists for BHOC students.
