Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Within the framework of his visit to Baku, BP’s Chief Executive Robert Dudley met with SOCAR leadership, APA reports.
SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said that the subcommittee established under the decision of the Steering Committee on development of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields' block, located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, effectively operates both in London and Baku, spectacular measures were being carried out and plans were being prepared for short and long-term development of the fields.
Dudley appreciated the works done for stabilization of extraction in ACG block and he thanked the Azerbaijani side for support and help.
Expressing satisfaction with bringing BP’s high-level management on geology, drilling, extraction and other spheres for stabilization of extraction in ACG block to Baku, SOCAR President said that the works, the realized works build confidence that close cooperation and intense efforts of SOCAR, BP and other project partcipants will create stability in a short time.
