Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. In January-November, 2012, 39.7 mln tonnes of oil were transported via main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan, down 6.1% compared with a year ago.
State Statistical Committee says ¾ of transportation was carried out via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. 30.1 mln tonnes of oil were transported via this pipeline during the same period, down 6.2% in comparison to previous year.
At the same time, 2.9 mln tonnes of Turkmen oil were transported via BTC pipeline through Sangachal terminal, up 52.6% from year earlier.
Along with this, 17.2 bcm of was transported via main pipeline in January-November, up 3.3% from year earlier.20.9% of this gas was transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus pipeline. This pipeline transported 3.6 bcmof gas within the same period, down 12.2% compared with January-November, 2011.
