BP-Azerbaijan presents its annual special prizes to a group of first-year students

Baku. Ali Ahmedov – APA-Economics. Today, BP-Azerbaijan has presented its annual special prizes to a group of first-year students specialized in oil-gas engineering sphere.

APA-Economics says these students were selected from 5 universities – Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Gafgaz University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Baku State University and Khazar University.

BP’s prizes were presented to the best 31 pupils. All of them are high-point students.

BP’s prizes will allow those students participating in English training program for 10 months by BP’s finance. In this program, they will improve their language skills on technical sphere.

BP has presented its special prizes to 337 students so far. 8 of them built their careers in BP.

BP Azerbaijan vice-president for exploration and evaluation Mr. Greg Riley said that this year, BP marked its 20^th anniversary of operation in Azerbaijan: “This traditional special prize program covered more 4 universities by extending. But, ASOA is still leading o program because of 14 from 31 students are ASOA’s students”.
