Azerbaijan reduces energy production by 10.5%

Baku. Ali Ahmedov – APA-Economics. In November, 2012, more than 1.7 bln kVt/hour of power energy was produced in Azerbaijan, down 10.5% from previous year.

 

According to Azerenergy OJSC, 1.6 bln kVt/hour of energy was produced by heating power stations (HPS), 0.1 bln kVt/h – by water power stations (WPS).

 

At the same time, power energy exchange with Russia, Iran and Turkey continued.

 

Totally, 19.2 bln kVt/h of power energy was produced in January-November, 2012, up 7.3% in comparison to a year ago. Of this, 17.5 bln kVt/h was produced by HPSs, 1.7 bln kVt/h – by WPSs.
