Rovnag Abdulayev: â€˜Azerbaijan has fully ensured its energy securityâ€™

To him, new plant is also the only titanic project in the Caspian Sea: â€˜As SOCAR implements 95% of operations in the sea, there occurred need for this constructionâ€™.

Abdullayev noted that at present time, SOCAR obtains more than 300 vessels.
â€˜After the launch of the plant, 1,500-2,000 people will be provided with permanent workâ€™.

He also added that Azerbaijan had fully ensured energy security: â€˜Besides, our country plays an important role in energy security of Turkey, Georgia and several other countries. Discovery of Shah Deniz, Umid, Absheron and other fields increased the role of hydrocarbon reserves of Azerbaijan. The company is already realizing international projects in a number of countries.
