Named the reason for participation of SOCAR in the tender for tourism project in Montenegro

Baku. Ali Ahmadov - APA-Economics. The participation of the SPCAR in a tender for tourism projects in Montenegro is not part of the companyâ€™s plans and the goal is to support the countryâ€™s tourism companies, President of the company Rovnag Abdullayev said, APA reports.

To him, despite the fact that some travel companies of Azerbaijan want to take part in the tender, their opportunities do not meet the requirements of the tender: â€˜Therefore, SOCAR as the largest company and the locomotive of the economy of Azerbaijan, as well as the company implementing projects at an international level and as a company known in Europe, joined the tender to provide support to tourism companies in Azerbaijanâ€™.

Abdullayev said that SOCAR was not going to invest in this project and it has no such plans. â€˜The goal - to provide organizational and legal support to tourism companies in Azerbaijan. Project management will deal with travel companies in Azerbaijan. SOCAR has no plans to engage in hotel businessâ€™.
