Baku. Habil Suleymanzadeh - APA-Economics. Greek DEPA company paid $172 mln debt to Turkey’s Botas company, APA reports citing Sabah newspaper.

In general, it is only one part of $300 mln-debt. Another part plus interest will be paid until January 31, 2012.

Remind that, earlier, Turkey in the face of state-owned company Botas has decided to file for Greece in the Court of Arbitration in Switzerland, to challenge the prices and volumes of Azerbaijani gas supplies to this country. It is reported that this debt (approximately $ 300 million) arose as a result of rising prices for gas exports, but the Greek side (DEPA) refused to repay the debt.
