SOCAR sets in operation new supply vessel - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

The ceremony has been attended by SOCAR leadership and SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev viewed the vessel.

The vessel is the 16th vessel, brought to the Caspian Sea on the basis of agreements, signed between SOCAR’s Caspian Sea Oil Fleet Department and BP-Azerbaijan company of BUE Caspian alliance. Caspian Provider supply vessel was built at Norwegian Simek plant. Dynamic balance system installed in the ship allows operating in unfavorable weather condition. The vessel will begin to render supply services to platforms in Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shahdeniz deposits.

Note that, in 2012, it is expected to bring 2 supply vessels carrying anchor for BP-Azerbaijan.
