Azerbaijan increases export of crude oil by 30%

Baku. NIjat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan has exported 27.259 mln tons of crude oil during January-August, 2011, up 28.9% from year earlier.
According to State Customs Committee, 21.834 mln tons of exported crude oil was exported via Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan (BTJ) pipeline, 2.556 mln tons – via Baku-Supsa pipeline, 1.247 mln – via Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, 693.683 thousand tons – via railway transport, down 7.3%, 5.5%, 15.7% and 22.8% from year earlier.
At the same time, export oil products decreased by 17.1% to 1.476 mln tons.
About natural gas export, Azerbaijan has exported 4.813 bcm of blue gas, during the same period, up 4.4 times in comparison to a year earlier.
