Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Increase of gas extraction of Azerbaijan is an important issue, said the Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev.
According to him, increase of gas extraction of Azerbaijan is important for Azerbaijan to participate in nopt only regional projects, but in international projects like Nabucco, ITGI, TAP and AGRI: “At the same time, Ukraine intends to purchase 5-8 bcm of gas from us. We can’t join all of these projects. To my mind, Azerbaijan must extract 60 bcm of gas per yearâ€.
He also noted that, oil extraction was 50 mln tons per year and it was enough.
