Traycho Traykov: “The desired amount of gas is much higher than domestic demand in Bulgariaâ€

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. The Bulgarian government is interested in purchasing liquefied gas to be exported to Azerbaijan, the Minister of Economy, Tourism and Energy of Bulgaria Traycho Traykov said.
To him, Bulgaria is continuing negotiations with Azerbaijan and other countries, which are an integral part of the Southern Corridor: “Bulgaria is involved in several projects, including in Nabucco. In addition to these projects, partners of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria are negotiating with other countries. From this perspective, we are very interested in the transportation of liquefied gas from the Black Seaâ€.
Traykov noted that Bulgaria was not a big consumer of gas: “However, despite this, in the region, Bulgaria may act as a transit center. Therefore, the desired amount of gas is much higher than domestic demand in Bulgariaâ€.
