Bulgarian Economy Minister to visit Azerbaijan

The visit will take place within his tour to the Caucasus-Caspian region. Traykov will visit Georgia and Azerbaijan. Thereafter, on September 23, the minister will leave for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The possibility of diversifying energy supplies to Bulgaria will be discussed at the meetings.

Note that, Traykov will attend opening ceremony of bilateral business forum and will hold talks with Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev. Minister of Economy of Bulgaria will also meet with the President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev, Industry and Energy Minister Natig Aliyev. He will discuss the prospects of natural gas from Azerbaijan through Turkey to Bulgaria, Southeast Europe and the EU, as well as transportation of compressed natural gas across the Black Sea. During the visit, the Minister will visit the oil and gas terminal in Sangachal.
