SOCAR Energy Georgia and Goodwill sign memorandum of cooperation

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. SOCAR Energy Georgia Company and Goodwill signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document was signed by CEO of SOCAR Energy Georgia Mahir Mammadov and the founder of Goodwill Gogi Shevardnadze.
According to the memorandum, SOCAR Georgia Petroleum gave the management of multifunctional complex (with the exception of gas stations and related infrastructure) located on the main route Tbilisi-Poti, to Goodwill. The complex includes a supermarket, restaurant, fast-food, as well as the infrastructure of tourism, banking and entertainment destinations.
The sides announced their intention to further strengthen of Georgia’s position as a transit country, and decided to expand cooperation in the framework of the project on reconstruction of the multifunctional complex.
The project was developed by the German Linde group, with the participation of Georgian architects and designers. Facility is scheduled to be commissioned before the end of 2011.
