Baku to host international seminar on energy statistics

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. On September 27-30, the UN Statistics Division will hold an International Workshop on Energy Statistics in Baku.

State Statistical Committee told APA that the main objectives of this workshop are to train participants on the implementation of the recommendations contained in International Recommendations for Energy Statistics; review and discuss issues that countries face in the collection, compilation and dissemination of energy statistics; share national experiences and also contribute to the development of the Energy Statistics Compilers Manual, according to the source.

Nearly 30 representatives from UN, International Energy Agency and foreign countries are expected to attend and make speeches at the seminar.
