Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. In the first half-year of 2011, $3.7 mln capital expenditure was spent to activity related to South Caucasus Pipeline (Baku-Erzurum).

BP-Azerbaijan says during Q1, 2011, average throughput capacity of the South Caucasus Pipeline was 12.3 mln cubic meters if gas or about 77.500 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Note that, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipe started to supply firstly Azerbaijan and Georgia with ShahDeniz gas at the end of 2006, then from July of 2007 – Turkey.

Its shareholders include – BP (technical operator – 25.5%), Statoil (commercial operator – 25.5%), Azerbaijan South Caucasus Pipeline Llc (10%), LUKoil (10%), NICO (10%), Total (10%) and TPAO (9%).
