Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. In July, 2011, Marketing and Economic Operations Department of SOCAR exported 2,742,700 tons of oil from Jeyhan port (Mediterranean Sea, Turkey), SOACR told APA. According to SOCAR, 2,217,000 of this concerned to State Oil Fund.
Totally, 19,544,900 tons of oil was transported from Jeyhan Port, during January-July, 2011, down 10.3% from year earlier.
Note that, as of August 1, 2011, totally, 161,479,100 tons of Azeri oil has been transported from Jeyhan port, since Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan pipeline launched.
