3.5 bcm of gas to be pumped in storehouses in Azerbaijan this year

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. Over 3 bcm of gas will be pumped in the gas storehouses of Azerbaijan, this year, said the SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev.

According to him, the volume of gas pumped in the storehouses has been increased by 1 bcm per year, during past 2 years: â€œSeveral measures have been taken and the volume of pumped gas in storehouses reached 3.5 bcm, this yearâ€.

Abdullayev noted that, establishment of joint venture between Swedenâ€™s Foster Wheeler Company and SOCAR will increase the companyâ€™s scientific and project potential. According to him, opportunities of joint venture will be used in large projects: â€œWeâ€™ve started construction of new oil-chemical complex and conduct works in accordance to presidentâ€™s order. At the same time, weâ€™ll start construction of fertilizer plantâ€.
