Baku. Ali Ahmadov - APA-Economics. During June of 2011, 10923 m excavation works were conducted by SOCAR (except Joint Ventures and Operating Companies), down 17% compare to previous year. 10687 m of excavation works were related to exploitation, 236 m to exploration.
In general, 78533 m excavation works were carried out on SOCAR during January-June, 2011, up 10% from a year ago. Of these, 73,886 m was connected with exploitation, 4647 m to exploration. In comparison to the previous year, excavation works on exploitation increased by 6.4%, excavation works with purpose of exploration rose 2.43%
