SSC says if Azerbaijan produced 8.621 bcm of gas in 1991, this indicator reached 26.312 bcm of gas in the country by rising 3.1 times.
Note that the volume of gas production in 2011 is projected at 28.3 billion cubic meters, in 2012 - 29.8 billion cubic meters, in 2013 - 31.1 billion cubic meters, in 2014 - 32.2 bcm, in 2015 - 33 billion cubic meters.
Along with this, according to forecasts, after 2020, gas production in Azerbaijan will be 50-60 billion cubic meters a year, and after the launch of second phase of Shahdaniz project (2017) - 40 billion cubic meters a year.
