Baku. Ali Ahmedov – APA-Economics. On June 21, a meeting on management of associated gas flared in torch in Azer-Chirag-Gunashli and Shahdeniz fields was held in head office of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic.
According to SOCAR, reduction and utilization of flaring of associated gas in the same contract areas have been discussed and a working group was established for management of these issues at the meeting.
The SOCAR was represented by leading specialists on ecology, oil-gas extraction and transportation under the chairmanship of SOCAR vice-president on ecology Rafiga Huseynzadeh.
