Azerbaijan increases oil products sale in domestic market this year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan has sent 2.5 mln tons of oil products to consumers (including export) during January-May, 2011, that it remained unchanged compared to a year ago.

According to State Statistical Committee, 67.2% of oil products were directed to domestic need, 32.8% were exported: â€œ38.3% of oil products were diesel fuel, 19.2% - gasoline, 10.1% - aircraft fuel, 4.2% oil fuel, 3.9% liquid gases, 3.2% oil bitumen, 1.4% lubricating oils, 19.7% other products.

1.6 mln tons of oil processing products have been sent to domestic consumers during the same period, up 19.9% from year earlier.

SOCAR Marketing and Economic Operations Department has realized 87.8% of gasoline, 42.5% of diesel fuel, 42.4% of lubricating oils, 15% of oil fuel to the private organizations during January-May, 2011.
