“And a few persons try to mislead people into thinking that they are the successors of the first republic”, said deputy Siyavush Novruzov at the first meeting of the extraordinary session of the Azerbaijani Parliament held today, APA reports.
He said if the present-day Azerbaijan wouldn’t be such a developed, globally recognized state that is able to state its opinion on the world arena, today we couldn’t talk about any inheritance?
“We are the successors of the first republic. While they are high traitors, who have united with the Armenian lobby and denigrate Azerbaijan. We should form both our thoughts and opinions in the right direction. Today, Ilham Aliyev is also the president of the first Democratic Republic”, said S. Novruzov.
